Q: What is the SOCHi Career Center?
The SOCHi Career Center is the department that will assist you with a wide array of career development assistance. Career advisors support both current and graduate students in finding employment within their field of study by networking with different employers in the community. Our students and graduates have been hired as Massage Therapist, Physical Therapy Aides, Personal Fitness Trainers, and Medical Billing and Coders.

Q: How can I make an appointment with a Career Advisor?
Appointments: Appointments can be scheduled in-person, by phone 818-980-8990, or email Lisette@sochi.edu. Advisement appointments with career specialists are scheduled for half-hour intervals.
Drop-Ins: Drop-ins are held in the Career Services Center each weekday from 4-5pm. Drop-ins are short, 15-minute meetings and are ideal for quick questions and resume critiques.
Mock Interviews: To practice interviewing with a career specialist, schedule an appointment to conduct and review your mock interview. Be sure to bring your resume and a sample job announcement with you to the mock interview.
Q: How can I get help with my resume?
You should start to work on your resume using the sample resumes provided in our Career Services Department. Once you have a draft resume prepared you should either make an appointment with one of our team members:
