Our mission is to provide the highest standard of education in an environment that promotes learning and encourages empathetic and compassionate health & wellness professionals dedicated to the ethical and social principles of their profession and committed to a lifetime of continued learning.

 

In 1995, then known as IPPT, we started our first massage therapy class under Mr. Boris Prilutsky who founded the school and based his curriculum on European Medical Massage Therapy. Since then, we have expanded to offer training in other areas of health & wellness. In 2008, we worked closely with rehabilitation centers, hospitals and physical therapists to refine our physical therapy aide/sports rehab program, and became a valued source for employers to recruit physical therapy aides to their facilities. In 2013, we partnered with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) to adopt their curriculum for the Personal Fitness Trainer program. NASM certification is highly recognized in the profession. In 2014 likewise, we partnered with AAPC, as the first school to offer the medical billing & coding specialist program with specifically designed curriculum which was developed for SOCHi. AAPC was founded in 1988 to provide education and professional certification to physician-based medical coders and to elevate the standards of medical coding by providing student training, certification, ongoing education, networking, and job opportunities.

Our focused based education provides for a safe and healthy learning environment that will challenge and build confidence, while helping you achieve the necessary skill and compassion to become successful health & wellness professionals.
